A rare mutation in cannabis (and other plants) where the stems, leaves, or flowers grow in an abnormal, flattened, ribbon-like form rather than the usual cylindrical or round shape. This condition is caused by a disruption in the plant’s growth cells during development, leading to unusually shaped or fused structures. Fasciation can affect both the vegetative and flowering stages of cannabis, sometimes resulting in bizarre, fan-shaped growths or clustered, elongated flowers.
