The bulbous, resin producing tips of the trichomes found on cannabis plants. Trichomes are the tiny, hair-like structures on the surface of cannabis flowers and leaves that produce the plant’s cannabinoids, terpenes, and other compounds responsible for its effects, flavor, and aroma. The trichome head is where the majority of these valuable compounds are stored, making it the most critical part of the trichome for cannabis extraction and potency.
