A type of leaf venation or structure in which the leaf has a central main vein (midrib) with smaller secondary veins branching off from it in a pattern resembling a feather. This arrangement is common in various plant species and is characterized by leaflets or lobes extending on either side of the central vein in a symmetrical fashion.
