The female reproductive part of a cannabis flower. It is made up of the stigma, style, and ovary, and plays a crucial role in the plant’s reproduction process. The stigma is the hair-like structure that emerges from the flower and is most visible, often changing color as the plant matures. In cannabis cultivation, pistils are an important indicator of the plant’s maturity and readiness for harvest, as well as its sex (only female plants produce flowers with pistils).
