A type of ultraviolet radiation with a wavelength range of 315-400 nanometers, making it less intense than UVB and UVC but still beyond the visible light spectrum. In cannabis cultivation, UVA light is used to mimic natural sunlight and enhance plant growth, trichome production, and cannabinoid and terpene content. Although it is gentler than UVB, UVA can still stimulate some plant stress responses that may benefit the development of desirable compounds, such as cannabinoids and terpenes.
