The Varin homolog of CBD, which naturally occurs in cannabis in trace amounts, and possesses a 3-carbon side chain rather than the standard 5-carbon chain. One of the more clinically studied minor cannabinoids, with active clinical trials for anticonvulsant properties for some conditions.
