The varin homolog of CBG with a 3-carbon side chain rather than the standard 5-carbon side chain. Like CBG, it serves as the precursor compound for the synthesis of the other varin series cannabinoids. Research is very limited, though it may share some of CBG’s antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and is believed to enhance the ability of CBD to absorb. Abbreviated CBGV.
