Abbreviation for Cannabigerovarin. The varin homolog of CBD, which naturally occurs in cannabis in trace amounts, and possesses a 3-carbon side chain rather than the standard 5-carbon chain. One of the more clinically studied minor cannabinoids, with active clinical trials for anticonvulsant properties for some conditions. Some studies may also point to benefits for nausea and irritable bowel disease.
