The smallest type of glandular trichomes on cannabis plants, typically measuring between 10–30 micrometers in diameter. They consist of a tiny bulbous resin gland attached directly to the plant’s surface without a stalk, and are found on the leaves, stems, and flowers. Though they produce some cannabinoids and terpenes, their small size and minimal resin production mean they contribute less to the plant’s overall potency compared to larger trichome types like capitate-stalked and capitate-sessile trichomes.
