A type of hydroponic growing system where cannabis plants grow with their roots submerged directly in a nutrient-rich, oxygenated water solution. In DWC, plants are placed in net pots with their roots hanging down into a reservoir of water, allowing them to absorb oxygen and nutrients continuously. An air pump supplies oxygen through air stones, keeping the roots from suffocating and promoting rapid growth and high yields due to the constant access to water and nutrients.
